Six months after the successful launch of their best selling Elcometer 456 range of coating thickness gauges, Elcometer are pleased to announce the release of the first in a series of software enhancements for the Elcometer 456.
In order to keep our customers up to date with the latest inspection technologies we designed the Elcometer 456 to have a built-in user upgrade feature, stated John Fletcher, Technical Support Manager at Elcometer. To future proof their Elcometer 456 all our customers have to do is connect their gauge to Elcometers ElcoMaster 2.0 data management software and follow the onscreen prompts, its that simple!
In addition to general language and technical updates, this field-based upgrade installs a new graph review screen on Elcometer 456 Model T gauges allowing users to view all their batch readings instantly on the gauges colour display.
Having bought equipment which has quickly been superseded myself, I felt it was important that our customers gauges were always kept up to date, stated Michael Sellars, Managing Director of Elcometer. We have plans to release free software enhancements on a regular basis to ensure our customers have the most up to date gauges on the market, at all times.
Elcometer have a team of engineers already developing future upgrades to the Elcometer 456 dry film thickness range for release early in the New Year.
