Safic-Alcan opens a new subsidiary in Greece

Safic-Alcan is pleased to announce that it has formed a new subsidiary, Safic-Alcan Hellas, for servicing the Greek market, effective immediately.

Safic-Alcan Hellas is based in Athens and will manage warehousing locally.

In order to support the new office, Safic-Alcan hired its first employee, Dr Yannis Antonopoulos, who will be responsible for the Sales & Development.

Dr Antonopoulos will hold the position of General Manager and will initially be in charge of the performance products market in Greece (CASE, PU, Rubber and Plastic).

Prior to his current position, he enjoyed a long experience in sales and business development with local Greek distributors.

"We are delighted with the opening of this new subsidiary in Athens.

"We will bring innovative solutions to local customers, and serve our existing and future principals in the best possible way," stated Philippe Combette, CEO of Safic-Alcan.
