- New silver metallics convince with maximum brilliance and chemical stability
- Refined combination of aluminium-platinum dollars and a special acrylate polymer encapsulation
- Ideal for solvent-based single-layer coatings
The silver-metallic, highly resistant STAPA HCP pigment pastes have received a strong addition with the introduction of the newly developed STAPA® HCP 4000 range. With STAPA® HCP 4000, too, the abbreviation HCP stands for "High Chemical Performance": Thanks to their special acrylate polymer coating, the metallic pastes are extremely resistant to chemicals, acids and alkalis. The sophisticated composition of aluminium-platinum dollars gives the new series maximum brilliance and hiding power.
With STAPA® HCP 4125, ECKART presents the first pigment of this new series. The bright silver look can be very well imagined in the interior of vehicles. The second newcomer is called STAPA® HCP 4225. It is somewhat darker and coarser and is precisely tailored to the needs of coil coating. Further products to complete the 4000 series are in development.
Basically, the effect pigment manufacturer recommends all STAPA HCP 4000 pigments for high-quality solvent-based single-layer coatings in the fields of consumer electronics, automotive accessories and coil applications.
